ABOUT KIM
My first yoga experience, over three decades ago, wasn't great (I wasn't able to do all the poses, didn't feel flexible enough, I just didn't feel like I would fit in).
I never went back to that first studio, but I did find another studio and for the first few years I practiced, the classes were about achieving poses, breathing in certain ways, some guided meditation and staying corpse like still at the end. I gravitated to one-on-one lessons and later my curiosity lead me to study with teachers who understood true yoga and who I could continue my yoga journey. My passion for yoga is only growing with the years and the more I interact with the philosophy.

The reason I teach (while I never intended to) is to pass on what I have learned, to empower others to decide if the practices would benefit them. To expel certain myths of what yoga is and provide practices that are inclusive, accessible, invitational, explorative and compassionate. I teach both for myself and so that others may perhaps get to the richness of the teachings earlier than I did.
Yoga has helped me to be more .. well ME!
