Terms & Conditions​

By purchasing a KBY service you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding refunds and payments. These financial policies apply to all, unless specified otherwise.

 

Payment

 There are two payment options: 1.Payment in full upon booking. 2. As mutely agreed. 

​​If you make a booking for another person you must have their permission to do so.

​All courses will be at a fixed rate in NZD (New Zealand Dollar). If payment is being made from another currency the course fee will be applicable to the exchange rate on the day of deposit payment (fees in local currencies may fluctuate).
 

Cancellation

If paid in full: If cancellation by the participant is 2 months or more prior to the start of the course then 75% of payment will be refunded. If cancellation by the participant is within 2 months prior to the start date of the course then the payment is non-refundable.

If deposit paid: If cancellation by the participant is 2 months or more prior to the start date of the course the deposit will be refunded minus any processing fee.  If cancellation by the participant is within 2 months prior to the start date of the course then the payment is non-refundable.

 

KBY reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event under any circumstances that make the event not viable to be carried out as advertised. Circumstances may include an event that is beyond the control of the company, insufficient numbers booked and any reason that the venue may have to cancel or is not in alignment with the aim of the course teachings.

If in any case, the venue must cancel the event then full payment or deposit will be refunded or transferred to another course date. However, KBY will not be held liable for any additional expenses which you may have incurred with respect to the event, for example, travel, accommodation or exchange rate losses.
 

Venue

KBY may use privately-owned venues to run courses and workshops. Each venue has a variety of facilities which will be stated on the respective website of the individual venue. Participants are asked to contact the venue directly in terms of any questions in regard to venue facilities.

 

The facilities of the venue will not be held liable to KBY. (we aim to use quality and suitable venues). Any issues with the venue shall be addressed with the venue directly.
 

Privacy

All personal details shared with KBY are fully confidential and shall not be shared with any other person or company for any reason.
 

Course Content

The course content taught by KBY is separate from the venue in which it is taught (if not online)
ALL course content is exclusive to participants who have attended the course and participants agree not to share content with people who have not attended the course.

Liability

By attending any KBY teachings, workshops or courses you agree that

• KBY cannot be held responsible for or liable for any injury, loss or damage of property or disruption of any program beyond their control.

• It is your responsibility to be conscious of and look after your body and declare any previous or current injuries. Medical forms will be required upon arrival.
   

Photos

No photos of participants will be used for any purpose without their prior written consent. 
 

Forms

Upon arrival / orientation, course participants will be asked to fill out a medical form, consent form, and a responsibility / liability waiver. This is to ensure that previous and current injuries and health conditions are clear to all and that each participant agrees to take full responsibility for their body and overall health (physically, mentally and emotionally) while attending a course.
 

Website

Unless agreed to in advance you may not download any content from the KBY website to be used commercially or for business purposes. If used for personal use e.g. social media, you agree to always source KBY and not to amend any of the content sourced.
